Artificial Intelligence is increasingly shaping Vocational Education and Training (VET). From content creation tools to adaptive learning systems, AI is becoming part of everyday educational practice.
But an important question remains:
Are we integrating AI in a way that is inclusive, responsible, and beneficial for all learners?
To support this reflection, we have developed the Digital Maturity Assessment (DMA), a short quiz designed specifically for VET providers.
What Is the Digital Maturity Assessment?
The DMA is a practical reflection tool. It helps VET professionals assess:
- How digital tools and AI are currently used in their organisation
- How prepared their institution is to adopt AI responsibly
- Whether their digital approach supports inclusion
- Where there may be gaps or opportunities for improvement
The goal is not to evaluate or judge. There are no right or wrong answers.
Instead, the DMA provides a structured moment to pause and reflect on your organisation’s digital and AI readiness.
Why Does This Matter?
AI has strong potential to:
- Personalise learning
- Support diverse learning needs
- Improve accessibility
- Enhance teaching practices
However, without careful implementation, digital transformation can unintentionally widen existing gaps. Inclusive AI means ensuring that innovation benefits all learners, including those with specific learning difficulties and other diverse needs.
